When a beach is quiet and on the off season and your craving a burger after volunteering at Fort Fisher Aquarium,Fun Time Ice Cream does not disappoint! The service is fabulous and quick and the food is wrapped individually perfect! So yummy and perfect way to eat on the ferry ride home! Thank you for being open in an otherwise vacant town in the off season!!!
The ice cream is so good and the amount of flavors they have is amazing. Staff could be a bit better, but they are still very nice and will help with everything you need. It's a nice little takeout shop with benches in front of it. It is perfect for if you are at the beach and are craving a nice ice cream cone or even a burger and fries. 10 out of 10 will recommend.
So many ice cream places to choose from and you know it's good when there's a line. Came here for the assortment of soft serve and it did not disappoint. Blueberry cheesecake soft serve and orange dreamsicle hit home. Flavors are spot on and delish
The best soft serve in CB! Giant shaved ice that makes my kids smile, a ridiculously chewy ooey gooey brownie sundae that exceeded expectations, avalanches delicious, and good old creamy soft serve in a cone that you can never go wrong with. We tried all the ice cream places in town. Hands down Fun Time is THE spot. The staff are always so friendly and service is fast. We love it!
The banana split was delicious and the soft serve is large and comes with a lot of sprinkles. I would skip the brownie sundae though, it was just okay.
Nice little ice cream stop close to the beach. It was a nice treat to stop for on the way back to our Airbnb. My partner got the cotton candy soft serve while I got the coconut. Both were good but I liked the coconut best. Good service as well.
It's a walk up ice cream bar. They do have food, but we all had ice cream cones. I had coffee. It was great good coffee flavor. Like eating a cup of coffee with cream. Yum! The family all said they give it two thumbs up as well. It gets crowded, but don't let that deter you. They are good at staying friendly and keeping the line moving. Many people seemed to walk. We drove and have no problem with parking in their private lot.
Great place to stop for a shaved ice! Lots of flavors! They also have ice cream and funnel cakes, but I didn't have time to try either of those.
